Information Collected

Data collected is on the basis of “legitimate interest” and “legal”. We are required to obtain information on guests who are occupying the caravan to safeguard the interests of the property owner and to be able to process the booking. We are required by law to retain details of the transactions for 7 years. We do not retain credit/debit card details. You are required to supply information in order for the holiday letting contract to be processed. We do not collect excessive data and only collect data that is necessary to process your booking.

We do not collect any personal information from visitors to our website other than information that is knowingly and voluntarily given. Anonymous information is collected, such as the number of visitors to the website in a given period or details of properties and dates selected for online bookings, but it is purely statistical and cannot be used to identify an individual user. If you agree to it via the pop-up Cookies Acknowledgement button, we use Cookies to collect statistics about how you use our site e.g. which webpages you visited and for how long. None of the Cookies set by the Web Site jeopardise your privacy in any way and no personal data is collected.

 Prospective guests interested in requesting more information about a holiday letting can provide contact details via a fill-in form. They cannot be contacted unless such information is given.

We do not obtain “sensitive data” which includes

  • race, ethnic origins
  • religion
  • political opinions
  • physical or mental health (e.g. disability)
  • sexual orientation
  • criminal convictions or allegations.


Use of Information

The information collected will be used to contact you to reply to your enquiries and to deal with any bookings that you make. We will not sell your information or transfer it out of the EU. Access to your information (name, dates staying at the property and number of guests) will be available to Cookies Cleaning Crew for housekeeping purposes and also to the management of Goosewood Holiday Park for the purpose of managing your check in on arrival.

We will share your details with our booking system, Promote My Place (for the purpose of them delivering their service to us.) Their privacy policy is here

Any card payments made via PayPal will be subject to their privacy policy also. We will not store card details.

Data Security

We take appropriate measures to safeguard the information we hold from unauthorised access or improper use which include password protection, firewalls and anti virus software. Our database (  is stored in a secure, password protected location. Only users authorised by us have access to this data. We have awareness training of how to identify phishing scams.


Our website is not targeted at children but in any event personal information will not knowingly be collected from children under fourteen years without parental consent.
